This unique and experienced individual will manage and provide leadership and mentor a group of 8-10 commissioned technicians. The Group Leader is an experienced commissioned service technician who has a mastery of sewer and drain cleaning along with a strong plumbing background.

The Group Leader will spend a majority of their time working on commissioned jobs with or without the direct involvement of their group. This individual also needs to have a strong customer service background.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES:

• Manage, coach, and mentor a team of service technicians to provide quality plumbing service to all customers.
• Focus on increasing technician earnings by developing technical expertise and improve sales skills.
• Identify and provide additional support and training to service technicians who are not meeting published goals.
• Establish performance improvement goals.
• Accompany service technicians to customer sites to observe performance and provide coaching and training in various aspects including customer service, sales to include additional offering additional products and services, building commercial customer base and safety/OSHA requirements.
• Conduct work site reviews to ensure safety measures are utilized.
• Respond to customer service calls by inspecting the problem area and accurately diagnosing the issue; provide a solution and estimate for service and close the sale.
• Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.
• Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, repairs and replaces broken and deteriorated piping and opens clogged drains.
• Performs sewer and drain cleaning services in areas including basements, roofs, confined spaces and close quarters.
• Cleans and restores customers work site to a minimum pre-job condition.
• Offers, promotes and sells additional Roto-Rooter services and drain care products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years in the plumbing industry
• Minimum 1 year in a supervisor or manger role.
• Master Journeyman License or Master License (Preferred)
