Location: Neurosurgery One , 7780 S BROADWAY, Suite 350, Littleton, CO 80122

The role you’ll contribute:

The psychometrist is responsible for conducting outpatient and/or inpatient neuropsychological assessments with a variety of patients suffering from developmental, medical, psychological, and/or neurological conditions who present with cognitive complaints. The psychometrist must ensure that the testing environment, whether outpatient or inpatient, meets or exceeds that required to evaluate a patient.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Assist with the collection of patient background information and prepare them into a biopsychosocial report prior to the patient’s first meeting with the neuropsychologist.

  • The psychometrist will gather the appropriate testing forms and tools needed prior to the testing session, as directed by the neuropsychologist.

  • Score all tests administered, consult with the neuropsychologist as needed, input testing data into their appropriate software systems for analysis and statistical reports, document behavioral observations of the patient during testing, and provide a brief summary of results.

  • Responsible for maintaining test equipment and databases, ensuring accuracy, security, and availability of data.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology or related field

  • One year experience in a hospital or clinic setting
