Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Wireless Procurement Manager will oversee the Procurement Ops team, supporting the Wireless Sourcing and Procurement teams. The ideal candidate has experience in Procurement and Vendor Management, is driven, organized, and detail-oriented. This role involves leading change management initiatives, managing projects and sourcing activities, and driving execution and accountability. Responsibilities include creating, implementing, and streamlining procurement processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Lead DISH Wireless procurement functions, overseeing projects and ensuring on-time, cost-effective delivery.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships, project planning, and timely outcomes.

  • Support Vendor Management programs, including vendor onboarding and purchase requisition management.

  • Develop program plans and reporting metrics for strategic and tactical procurement efficiency.

  • Create detailed purchase plans for material requirement planning and vendor qualification.

  • Establish and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices for operational enhancement.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

As a successful Manager of Procurement, you will have:

Education and Experience:

  • 6+ years’ experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain and/or Program Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a technical field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of the procurement process and methodology, and familiarity with the suppliers who provide wireless network material and equipment

  • Must have managed teams in previous jobs

  • Familiarity with wireless network infrastructure and industry knowledge is a plus

  • Good knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems

  • Analytical skills in operations and finance

  • Proficiency in Google Suite products as well as outstanding written and communication skills

  • Ability to create consensus and results from peers in cross-functional positions

  • Must be detail-oriented, skilled at multitasking, and an excellent problem solver

  • Passion for team environments and building robust relationships across the organization

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
