Various Positions operate a variety of Earth-movingEquipment (Dump Truck, Street Sweeper, Backhoe, Front-end Loader, Dozer orGrader) or a heavy duty refuse collection truck.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:All Equipment Operator positions (Public Works Department) operate a variety of equipmentand require a Commercial Driver's License A or B. All positions perform other relatedmanual labor duties, such as: using hand tools to remove materials from ditches, repair streetsurfaces, and load materials onto trucks.Equipment Operator Levels:Equipment Operator 1 - Oper ates light and medium duty trucks (Dump Truck) and trailers totransport equipment and materials to assigned work sites and dumping areas. Goto for a complete jobdescription.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Equipment Operator 1 and 3: One year of experience in the operation of light and mediumduty trucks and trailers.
