Unarmed Security Officers will be certified by the Arkansas State Police, are responsible for monitoring people or locations throughout the ACH Campus such as entry points, screening areas, and parking lots. These Officers can be used to monitor access management systems, security rounding, patient/parent/employee transports and would report any Security related issues to the ACH Security Dispatcher and on-duty Supervisors.

Description

  1. Patrols assigned areas to enforce AC security/safety regulations and criminal/traffic laws.

  2. Engages in Emergency Response and Emergency Management.

  3. Provides strategic assistance and and responds to customer service needs as required.

  4. Assists in controlling traffic and enforcing parking rules and regulations.

  5. Assists in performing investigations.

  6. Performs other related duties as assigned.

  7. Monitor entry points utilized for screening.

  8. Unarmed officers would assist armed officers if directed or needed.

  9. All officers would fill in for dispatchers when no other options are available and as a supplement during high volume and critical circumstances.
