Robert Half Accounting Clerk in Little Rock, Arkansas

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Little Rock, Arkansas. This role falls within the accounting industry and will involve key responsibilities such as processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, maintaining General Ledger entries, and conducting some audit tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions in an accurate and timely manner

• Maintain and update General Ledger entries to ensure accurate financial records

• Conduct audit tasks as required, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on their status

• Resolve customer inquiries and issues related to accounting processes and procedures

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth accounting operations

• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, and Audit to improve and streamline accounting processes. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Comprehensive understanding of the General Ledger

• Ability to conduct and assist in audits

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Knowledge of accounting software and databases

• High attention to detail and accuracy in all work

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
