Position Overview

Navistar’s Parts Pricing Organization has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pricing Consultant. This role will assist the Associate Director of Pricing, with tactical pricing decisions, market analysis, revenue, and margin forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Make pricing recommendations based on market analysis and organizational objectives within a defined timeline

• Develop pricing strategies and execution plans to align product portfolio goals

• Work the Pricing, Product, Procurement, Finance and Sales for actions designed to create profitable growth for Navistar and dealer partners

• Prepare Business Cases to assess financial viability of pricing actions

• Investigate and understand causes for variances in data or plan

• Streamline and improve departmental processes; promote best practices; coach and mentor peers

• Prepare ad hoc analyses as required

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• At least 8 years of data analysis, data modeling, or pricing analysis experience

• At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

• Master’s degree

• At least 6 years of data analysis, data modeling, or pricing analysis experience

• At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

• At least 10 years of data analysis, data modeling, or pricing analysis experience

• At least 1 year of lead experience

Additional Requirements

• Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

• Ability to follow a define workflow, as well as identify areas for improvement with a defined action plan

• Excellent time management skills – can prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet specific deadlines

• Strong analytical capability

• Experience presenting solutions and recommendations based on data

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint (Intermediate), and Word (Intermediate)

• Knowledge of Pricing Solutions software and Business Analytics packages

• Training in SQL, Syncron or similar data skill sets

• Work effectively in a team environment
