Boehringer Ingelheim Sales, Distribution & Key Account Manager Pets in Lisbon, Portugal

This role is based in Lisbon and reports directly to the Pets Business Head Animal Health.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve assigned sales targets for companion animal products.

  • Manage a network of distributors to ensure efficient product distribution and market coverage.

  • Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

  • Identify and develop strong relationships with key accounts (retailers, wholesalers, etc.) within the companion animal industry.

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and increasing loyalty.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Veterinary background is considered a plus.

  • At least 3 years of experience managing and motivating a sales team and strong understanding of the distribution channels in the Animal Health market.

  • Experience in Key Account Management is considered a plus.

  • Excellent command of both the Portuguese and English language.

  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to connect with people at all levels.

  • Analytical and problem-solving capability.

  • In possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to travel (may include overnight travel).
