What you’ll do:

• Demonstrate knowledge of core DevOps tenets and principles

• Work with development, quality assurance, and infrastructure team members to build an effective continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline

• Develop and deliver IT Ops-minded solutions that improve service stability and reliability

• Share best practices for build and deployment across several technologies (Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise)

• Drive the team’s triaging capability by taking on challenging problems not understood by front-line support teams

• Relentless automation of every aspect of the development, build & deployment process

• Manage a backlog of tasks centered on continuous improvement of the system.

Skills and experiences:

• Knowledge of development life cycles, quality assurance, and project management

• Microsoft DevOps: Azure App Insight, Git, Azure DevOps

• DevOps Automation: Octopus Deploy, Maven, Puppet, TeamCity, Chef, Gradle, Jenkins

• DevOps Frameworks: DevOps Architecture, ADOP, AMEP

• DevOps Scripting: Grunt, PowerShell

• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Services.

About you:

• You likely have 2+ years of prior related work experience, preferably in a technology or consulting environment

• Tenaciously champion core DevOps behaviours like collaboration, communication, and ownership

• Embrace creativity and explore groundbreaking solutions

• Stay ahead of the curve, anticipating what lies ahead and adapting to the latest advancements

• Embrace challenges with a keen intellect and a thirst for knowledge.
