Associate Security Automation Engineer

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. As part of the Security Automation, AI, and Analytics (SA3) team, you will contribute to developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that will help AMGEN defend against ever-evolving cyber threats.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Manage new and existing policies and settings for Windows devices using Workspace One, Intune, and SCCM management platforms.

  • Coordinate and manage software deployments by overseeing pilot feedback and incorporating changes into production deployments.

  • Continuously engage application owners to ensure that business applications are up-to-date and align with modern standards.

  • Facilitate user communications and organizational change management when changes are being implemented (outages, upgrades, attribute changes, etc.)

  • Support the M365 application suite experience by investigating and improving the stability of the suite and ensures compatibility with other corporate applications.

  • Investigate and resolves systemic issues and problems with operating systems, application compatibility, and security agents.

  • Monitor and optimize network printers and print servers to improve performance, availability, and security across the network. Manage print queues, drivers, and permissions, ensuring that users have appropriate access to print resources.

  • Must be able to express and discuss ideas effectively in English

  • Demonstrated commitment to engaging in hands-on activities, including manual testing and the automation of routine procedures.

  • Basic understanding of SQL language

  • Familiarity with programming languages (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Outsystems, etc.)

  • Familiarity with REST API best practices and usage.

  • Self-starter with a high degree of initiative

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Passion for exploring new and alternative technologies.

  • Passionate, collaborative, and results-oriented

  • Ability to manage cognitive biases

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills

  • Professional security certifications (Preferred): Security +, CC, CEH, CCNA, OSCP, ISO 27001,

  • Working experience in an Agile / DevOps environment (Preferred)

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 years of directly related experience

OR

  • Associate’s degree and 3 years of directly related experience

OR

  • High school diploma / GED and 4 years of directly related experience
