Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Linthicum, Maryland. This role primarily revolves around handling small and large parts, and coordinating with freight companies as needed. The incumbent will also be required to exhibit strong administrative skills, with a focus on data entry and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Communicating with freight companies for any necessary correspondence

• Leveraging software tools for efficient operations, including Stage 100, UPS, and FedEx systems

• Ensuring administrative tasks are handled efficiently, including organizing files and scheduling appointments

• Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders

• Processing and maintaining accurate records in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook

• Performing data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency

• Handling shipping functions and maintaining the integrity of shipped goods

• Using administrative assistance skills to support various operations within the team.

Requirements

• Strong Customer Service skills

• Proficiency in Data Entry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word

• Experience in Organizing Files

• Ability to perform Scanning tasks

• Experience in Schedule Appointments management

• Knowledge of Shipping Functions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
