YourRole:We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Technician (2nd Shift)to join us at our Lindsay NE location. This position willtest and inspect products at various stages in the production process and compile data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. This position will also develop open and trusting relationships to leverage collaboration and innovation in our every day operations. Prior experience with gage calibration a plus.

Job Requirements
  • Interpret and implement quality assurance standards
  • Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards
  • Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
  • Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems
  • Plan, conduct, and monitor testing and inspection materials and products to ensure finished product quality
  • Document internal audits
  • Investigate internal and external customer complaints and non-conformance issues
  • Collect and compile statistical quality data
  • Analyze data and apply root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
  • Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
  • Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards
  • Support on-site audits conducted by internal and external providers
  • Monitor risk management activities and be a part of the solution
  • Responsible for document management systems
  • Demonstrated comprehension of weld symbol callouts and ability to inspect components for conformance to weld specifications
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements such as ISO9001:2015, AWS, and ASTM specifications.
  • Willing to train in Quality Certifications
  • Conduct inspection of Road Safety Products.
  • CMM Experience
  • Gage Calibration Experience

``` Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with good organizational skills
  • Familiarity with basic computer operations
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed and occasionally second or split shift as required.
  • Ability to work safely and maintain good housekeeping
  • Familiarity with electrical circuitry, welding/machining, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) preferred
  • Inventory Transaction experience and working knowledge of the Receiving Inspection function beneficial
