Global Business Revenue Operations (GBRO) is responsible for all systems, tools, business processes, and operations for our direct and indirect business lines. Our goal is to provide an outstanding experience to enable our internal sales and partner ecosystem to meet their business objectives and revenue goals. We design, build, and manage the levers that accelerate commercial growth.

About the Opportunity

This Commercial Business Analyst position is part of the newly formed Commercial Business team within the GBRO organization. You will be responsible for performing business analysis activities for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role requires collaborating with stakeholders across Oracle to understand business priorities and provide insights highlighting top areas of opportunity or enrich our strategy for existing initiatives. You will conduct thorough analysis of the business to support executive meetings, cross-org initiatives, and ad hoc updates across direct and indirect business. This position supports the optimization of our sales processes, supporting continuous improvement programs across GBRO.

Responsibilities

About the role

  • Collaborates with stakeholders, including executive audiences, to identify business needs and requirements

  • Conducts thorough analysis of business processes and data to identify areas for improvement for OCI

  • Works with cross-functional team to design and implement solutions that meets the top business priorities

  • Leverages data to develop hypotheses and points of view to support executive updates and critical insights

  • Communicate findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner

  • Partners closely with Global Rev Ops Analytics team and Divisions to drive operational reporting requirements and provide adhoc analysis aligned to top initiatives

  • Collaborates with our sales & partner process owners to influence their roadmaps and design considerations for optimization

  • Summarizes key issues and business insights to educate broader GBRO stakeholders on opportunities across the business

  • Stays up to date with industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement

About You

  • You have deep analytics and business analysis skills

  • You have experience in cloud sales or ops, demonstrating an understanding of common sales motions

  • You have the ability to communicate data into relevant insights and supporting compelling presentations

  • You have the ability and drive to cover a range of activities from executive presentations to hands-on, deep dives as it pertains to top priorities

  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • You are self-motivated and can flexibly adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment

  • You seek to innovate with and collaborate closely with colleagues, exhibiting a growth mindset to empower others

  • You have the ability to work independently and remotely

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $87,000 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
