The Finance and Business Analysis Supervisor is responsible for developing, training, mentoring and supervising a team of assigned Finance and Business Analysts. Leveraging analysis, accessible data, reports, dashboards, scorecards, modeling and other available tools, the incumbent will lead the team to be able to formulate and communicate new ideas and suggestions that support strategic initiatives that will improve the profitability of the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Provide skill development, daily oversight, supervision, training and quality assurance of assigned Finance and Business Analyst associates.
  2. Provide assistance with a variety of financial and business activities including, but not limited to, financial analyses, budgeting, forecasting, strategic decision support, business intelligence, performance measurement, modeling and activity costing.
  3. Understand and facilitate the integration of business process, people, and relevant technology, in order to identify, configure, communicate and report useful data, and to provide practical business leadership to drive business decision making across the company.
  4. Determine scope and resource requirements of project requests and ensure projects are prioritized and completed.
  5. Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are maintained and inventoried.
  6. Work with applicable departments to coordinate support requirements.
  7. Ensure schedules and deadlines are met (reporting, project and routing tasks).
  8. Develop, establish, and implement departmental goals and objectives.
  9. Anticipates long]term problem areas and associate risk levels.
  10. Identify non]value added processes within the department and seek solutions.
  11. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank\'s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

  • Formulate and communicate new ideas and suggestions that will improve profitability and efficiency for the companys overall operation.
  • Promote professionalism at all times.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervise 2 or more associates as assigned by the Manager. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization\'s policies and applicable laws. Ensure direct reports have completed required compliance training and are adhering to all internal procedures and controls as it relates to bank policy, laws, regulations and Arvests BSA/AML Program. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates. The incumbent has the authority and the appropriate influence to make recommendations regarding hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, or any other change of status of other associates within the guidelines of the banks procedures and guidelines for such change of status events. The incumbent provides training, planning, assigning, and directing work assignments and schedules; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
