Position Summary

Jeffers Crane Service, Inc. is seeking Job Site Safety Coordinators for a temporary assignment that will last approximately 90 days starting in July and run through the end of October. The position requires 3+ years of related experience as a safety professional in the crane and rigging industry and/or construction industry. This is a full-time, non-exempt temporary position.

Safety Coordinator Essential Functions

- - On-boarding New Hires- New hire Orientation, employee verification (I-9s), drug screen management

- - Field safety audit- Client and company audit programs

- - Assist with Incident investigations

- - Conduct Daily toolbox meetings

- - JHA collection and review

- - Reporting directly to company safety manager

- - Address safety concerns of company employees and client management

- - Rigging inspections

- - PPE distribution

Job Specifications/Experience/Education

- - Minimum OSHA 30 hour certification

- - Current First Aid/CPR certification

- - 3+ years of Refinery experience

- - Experience with Cranes/ heavy equipment

- - Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written format, i.e. report writing.

- - Experience in accident investigation.

- - Ability to operate a personal computer.
