JOB SUMMARY: Elida Local Schools is looking for a High School English teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The candidate will instruct English course offerings depending on experience and appropriate licensure.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: Ohio Certification/Licensure Integrated Language Arts 7-12.

Ohio Certification/Licensure in Language Arts and Reading 4-9 will be considered on a long-term substitute basis for the 24-25 school year with preference given to those willing to obtain Integrated Language Arts 7-12 licensure.

Elida Local Schools is strongly committed to the use of technology in the classroom. Ideal candidates will have experience with related software, resources and applications that can be implemented in the classroom to improve the instructional process.

The successful candidate may also be considered for various extra-curricular and/or co-curricular advising and coaching positions that may become available in the district.
