Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry McKinstry is looking to add a Senior Construction Project Engineer to our growing New Construction Mechanical division in Spokane. If you thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy project design and customer requirements, and are passionate about solving problems and achieving goals- this may be the right position for you! You will assist with the Request for Proposal (RFP) and procurement process along with tracking current and future jobs, reviewing contracts and drawings and specifications. You will coordinate equipment procurement with our purchasing department and outside vendors. You will be scheduling, developing the of scope of work with subcontractors, and assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reporting. You will communicate with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners. You will work closely with our project management team and respond to questions raised by superintendents and field workers on a daily basis. You will work with the project team to solve problems and will gain hands-on experience in the field. You will create and respond to requests for information (RFI). You will develop, process, and track equipment, materials, and informational submittals. You will create site-specific work plans and create operations and maintenance manuals for our clients. You will process change orders, create billing breakdowns, and conduct quantify take-off and estimates. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry: BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management or comparable degree or equivalent work experience preferred. The pay range for this position is $32.84 - $49.54 per hour; however, base pay offered my vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
