Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are adding a Facility Engineer to our growing Facility Management division in Spokane, WA. As a Facility Engineer, you will maintain state-of-the-art facilities near downtown Spokane, including the Great Northern Railroad building and McKinstry's grid optimization district. Responsibilities include maintaining building automation, lighting, building access, and caring for many other building systems. You will support and monitor facilities development and apply your deep experience to coaching key building end users and staff. Some additional responsibilities you will have include: Serve has a point of contact for building stakeholders: Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with internal and external clients Respond appropriately to customer requests for services in accordance with set service level agreements Perform small projects under $100k in scope, furnishing modifications, moves and repairs to existing furnishings, break-fix activities, and facility event planning support. Monitor and support key operational systems and processes. Respond to assigned day-to-day emergencies, preventative maintenance, or unscheduled repairs assigned by CMMS workorder system in accordance with schedule or KPIs. Serve as a point of contact for building security. Serve as POC on building emergency response team and respond to all emergency situations required. Other duties as assigned. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry High school diploma, or GED. One+ years' general knowledge in facility management, maintaining HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing systems required. Basic knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite programs including WORD, Excel, Outlook, MS-Project, VISIO, and PowerPoint. Experience on drafting or reviewing proposals, bids, contracts, and KPI reports. Ability to read, understand and redline drawings. Ability to walk job sites required. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required and be "on call" on a 24/7 basis for emergency situations. Additional certification in one or more of the following may be required: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry as may be required by local or state jurisdictions. Must possess valid Washington State Driver's License. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry High school diploma, or GED. Two years' general knowledge in facility management, maintaining HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing systems required. Basic knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite programs including WORD, Excel, Outlook, MS-Project, VISIO, and PowerPoint. Ability to read, understand and redline drawings. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
