This Position is for an Assistant Store Manager with a retail store chain location in the Liberty, MS. area.

Duties and Responsibilities: Will be responsible for handling daily paperwork and reports, handling the cash register, accounts payable, managing employees and inventory control. Will be in charge of the daily operation. Quality Customer Service is the number one responsibility of position; Conduct personnel practices, store operations, customer relations, merchandising, safety and loss prevention in accordance with Company policy and sound business standards; Operate the store in accordance with established operating practices and procedures in such a manner as to achieve maximum profits; Inventory control; Cash control; Safety; Legal compliance; Equipment maintenance; Store appearance; Merchandising; Supervise, train, and direct store employees; Overall performance, progress, safety, development, and retention of store employees; Maintain effective work schedules and assignments consistent with specific objectives; Accurately record and complete paperwork; Maintain direct communication lines (written, phone, and data) with Operations Managers to ensure proper procedure and policy are maintained.

Education and Experience: Experience in convenience store, restaurant, grocery preferred; Retail Store/Assistant Manager: Minimum 1 years of experience.
