Providence Clinical Educator - Training and Development in Liberty Lake, Washington
Description
The Clinical Education Program Specialist for Providence Medical Group (PMG) is responsible for ensuring Patient Care Coordinators, Medical Assistant-Apprentices, Medical Assistants-Registered and Medical Assistants-Certified across PMG understand and are able to deliver care to patients using safe and standard best practices utilizing workflows and tools within Epic and other resources provided. The Clinical Education Program Specialist promotes operational quality and efficiency, and ensures training services are delivered to caregivers using audiovisual, online, and simulation technology to support activities. Collaborates with core leaders, the Providence Nursing Institute, professional organizations, and various departments to ensure the provision of clinical education (including in-service, regulatory and mandatory education), orientation and onboarding, caregiver engagement, and workforce development programs. Promotes, adopts, and embraces a culture of inter-professional collaboration, professional practice, and attainment of excellence in clinical outcomes. Supports implementation of departmental, PMG, and Providence St. Joseph Health initiatives by serving on select committees and work groups and assists with implementation of region- and system-wide initiatives. Continues to develop tools, theories, skills, and knowledge to advance personal excellence in practice.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Health Care or related field or equivalent educ/experience
3 years experience as an MA-C or PCC in an outpatient clinic setting
2 years experience in a leadership role in an outpatient clinic setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Upon hire: Active National certification/registration by AMCA, AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, or NAHP as a Medical Assistant (for WA State)
