FMS Program Analyst

KBR is seeking a Foreign Military Sales Program Analyst to join our Team! This position supports tasking for PMA-265, NAVAIR Headquarters in Patuxent River, MD.

Role and Responsibilities.

  • Supports the Australian F/A-18 program with development and sustainment of Systems Engineering efforts that includes Software Configuration Sets, Joint Mission Planning Software, Structures, Jet Engine, Electrical, Environmental, Instrument/Navigation and Weapon Systems

  • Plans, conducts, and technically assists in projects such as development of Flight Clearances and a wide range of efforts including systems engineering process reviews, correspondence drafting, engineering change proposal review, CDRL review, drafting of SOW and various briefings for the customer.

  • Coordinates, supports, and attends program management reviews, technical coordination meetings, conferences, briefings and other significant program activities and events occurring in CONUS or OCONUS, as required, to perform analysis in support of the PMA265 Australia IPT.

  • Identify and analyzes issues, record action items, recommend preferred courses of action to resolve action items, prepare draft minutes of the meetings, and archive program documentation

  • Supports technology transfer activities by developing required documentation, applying appropriate DoD markings, and routing packages for foreign disclosure release reviews.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree plus three (3) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline; and included in the three (3) years of experience there must be at least two (2) years professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and/or components development with specific knowledge of FMS and Defense Security Assistance Programs.

  • Experience with program/project status reporting and schedules. Familiarity with SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS, LCM of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series). Must have experience processing program acquisition, funding, and contract documentation for military programs.

  • An active secret level security clearance is required.

    Desired Experience :

  • Demonstrated experience in the following areas is desired: NAVAIR System Engineering Technical Review-Tailored (SETR-T) processes, F/A-18 F/G SCS, MPE development, and systems engineering. Knowledge and experience in avionics, communications, navigation, RADAR, sensors and weapon systems.

Contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
