FMS Aviation Logistics Planner, Senior

KBR is seeking a Senior FMS Aviation Logistics Planner to join our team. As a part of one of the world’s largest independent logistics organizations supporting both US Government and commercial agencies, you will be joining a highly talented and experienced KBR Logistics team providing FMS Logistics services to all NAVAIR aviation programs.

As a winner of the National Logistics Contract, the selected applicant will work within the Security Cooperation Office (SSCO) composed of government, military, contractor and industry personnel while supporting FMS logistics projects.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assists the senior aviation logistics planner with developing solutions to FMS logistics planning and execution issues in support of the government.

• Supports the Senior Aviation Logistics Planner on major projects, and as lead analyst on projects of a more routine nature on development, organization, and management of special projects at NAS Patuxent River, MD.

• Most work will be conducted on-site at NAS Patuxent River, MD, however, some domestic and international travel will be required in support of logistics activities.

Basic Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in a related field plus 5 years FMS aviation logistics, experience. 13 years of work experience in the field of aviation logistics will be accepted in lieu of a degree.

• An active secret level security clearance. Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

• Must be able to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.

• Must be able to operate effectively at remote work sites without direct supervision.

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and similar computer-based productivity applications.
