About the role:

Join Takeda as an Associate Director, HCP Marketing (GI Rare) where you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and refining unbranded and branded Health Care Provider (HCP) marketing materials that drive the business. As part of the GI Rare Brand Team, you will accomplish this through collaboration and strategic discussion with the end goal always being to win for patients.

How you will contribute:

  • Help refine core brand message architecture and positioning statement to ensure alignment with franchise's strategic priorities

  • Partner closely with Insights & Analytics to distill insights, validate business opportunities, optimize marketing mix, and monitor ROI of individual tactics

  • Leverage brand insights to inform segmentation, channel mix preferences, and targeting of HCPs

  • Identify critical design elements for initiatives/ promotions designed to inspire desired Health Care Provided (HCP) behavior change

  • Optimize HCP marketing materials across both non-personal and personal to inspire meaningful provider behavior change

  • Make strategic choices when prioritizing & commissioning tactics from relevant cross-functional partners

  • Manage multiple agencies from strategic brief ideation through to delivery, including successful management of project budgets and timelines

  • Collaborate closely with HCP Marketing peers to realize marketing synergies across KOL engagement, conference activities, P2P programming, and omnichannel experience

  • Partner consistently with Sales and other relevant functions to improve the journey for patients with EoE

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 8+ years experience with increasing responsibilities in sales, marketing or related function, with at least 4 years of dedicated experience in marketing; desired experience in launches, GI, or Rare disease

  • Demonstrated ability to positively influence coworkers toward common goals, foster collaboration, and enable teamwork; Ability to help set priorities, develop roles and responsibilities, and manage external partners

  • Ability to assess strengths and weaknesses of team members and provide suggestions for improvement; established leadership traits with an ability to mentor junior team members, collaborate effectively, and positively influence decisions

  • Deep understanding of the brand/franchise, the pharmaceutical industry, and how to effectively engage HCPs; ability to make sound business decisions by having a strong understanding about business, finance and risks/benefits of decisions

  • Extensive experience in marketing strategy and tactic design with an ability to communicate ideas to internal colleagues and external partners

  • Broad-based HCP Marketing knowledge from non-personal (e.g., designing/running a CRM program) to field sales (e.g., managing deployment of an asset to iPads)

  • Capable of leveraging data and analytics to distill insights and drive data-based decision making

Preferred:

  • MBA or MSc/PhD

  • Experience in GI or Rare therapeutic areas

  • Experience working on a product launch

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$149,100.00 - $234,300.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
