A client of ours in the manufacturing industry located in Frankfort, Kentucky is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join their team. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods. This role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure that receiving, storage, inventory, distribution, and shipment operations are performed in a productive and cost-effective manner.

• Manages inventory management and logistic functions to ensure the efficient flow of items through the warehouse, effectively using available area, equipment, systems, and staff.

• Responsible for preparing the annual budgets.

• Responsible for the accuracy of the inventory; conducts regular stock audits and cycle counts.

• Resolve any discrepancies in inventory and ensure proper documentation.

• Coordinates with suppliers, distributors, and transport companies to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods.

• Monitor and manage the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Identify and lead continuous improvement activities in warehouse processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency.

• Conduct 5S and safety initiatives in the warehouse.

• Develop work schedules and assign tasks to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
