The Patient Care Manager for the ortho/general surgical floor has 24/7 responsibility. They work closely with the Assistant Patient Care Manager in providing the resources and tools necessary in caring for this population. The responsibilities include but are not limited to quality and safety, staffing, hiring, and coordinating aspects of daily patient care on the inpatient unit.The primary responsibilities are to provide for the safe, effective, and efficient care of the patient as well as to direct the business, technical and nursing support activities of the clinic.
