Lockheed Martin Logistics Management Analyst in Lexington, Kentucky

Description: Duties will include coordinating Task Order / Customer logistics requirements with the Program Manager and other operations functional SMEs to include the Warehousing Support, Transportation and Movements Support, In House Repair / Repair and Return, and Disposal. Support customer Receive, Store, Issue, Pull/Pack/Ship and Dispose requirements. Embed with LM Program Team to translate customer requirements into actions performed within SOF GLSS Operations Enterprise. Responsibilities include - coordinating program SSAVIE and MILSTRIP requisitions, inventory related task order requirements with all functional organizations, performing analyses, preparing reports to validate supply obligations, monitoring expenditures, and providing estimates. Position requires proactive planning, scheduling and executing daily activities. Develop and maintain a complete understanding and application of business principals, concepts, practices and standards. Work with DOD systems. Work within three Inventory Management Systems – GOLDesp / DPAS / SAP. Understand DOD cataloging process and DOD logistics terminology. Read and interpret technical orders and illustrated parts manual and drawings. Become SME on Task Order / Customer material. Work with Microsoft software programs.

Coordinate the Life Cycle Sustainment Management by providing logistical support to the program. This includes scheduling shipments or pick-ups with functional departments and completing required documentation for CONUS and OCONUS shipments. Monitor and status material movement to include providing the proper documentation to complete property transfers to the gaining entity. Coordinate and manage incoming material, assist with purchase requests, and address issues when a discrepancy occurs. Complete SSAVIE requisitions and trouble tickets submitted by users in the field. Manage all equipment incoming from the field through the Repair and Return process. Coordinate and manage the manufacture and application of UID labels to specified equipment/kits. Work effectively with the PMO and internal functional areas in taking direction, answering questions, and handling issues that need resolution.

Basic Qualifications:

Knowledge of or able to learn DoD logistics systems and terminology. Must be proficient in Microsoft software programs in order to research, develop and create documents and presentations. Experience with applying database techniques for extracting querying and analyzing large amounts of data from various sources. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team structure.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
