Insight Global Assistant Site Manager in Lexington, Kentucky

Job Description

You report to the site manager or other senior project managers.

Communicate with the construction team and relay instructions from senior project managers.

Project Coordination:

Ensure that project requirements specified by the client and senior management are met.

Monitor labor, building material, and equipment budgets, curbing unnecessary expenses.

Prepare work schedules and sequence onsite tasks.

Resource Management:

Procure materials, labor, equipment, and third-party subcontractors and suppliers.

Collaborate with other construction project stakeholders as needed.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with construction industry safety regulations.

Report any concerns that might negatively impact projected cost and time estimates.

Problem-Solving and Supervision:

Apply technical knowledge to problem-solve on-site.

Supervise day-to-day operations of the team and assist with morning briefings where daily targets are set.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proficiency in recordkeeping and electronic project management systems (e.g., ComputerEaseand Procore).

Excellent communication skills and advanced negotiation abilities for procuring cost-effective subcontractors and suppliers.
