Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in LEXINGTON, Kentucky. This role primarily revolves around ensuring smooth and efficient processing of accounts payable transactions. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be expected to process, reconcile and manage a large volume of transactions weekly, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities:

• Handle processing of all payable invoices with precision and in a timely manner.

• Regularly reconcile purchase card expenditures to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Utilize various software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel for data entry and invoice processing.

• Conduct thorough check runs to maintain the integrity of financial records.

• Proactively monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate actions when necessary.

• Utilize your skills in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

• Provide support in the 5-day close process to maintain up-to-date records.

• Leverage the Blackbod ERP system for effective management and tracking of all payable transactions.

• Assist in coding invoices to ensure accurate categorization and tracking.

• Collaborate with the team to handle 100 payables a week, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Proficient in Data Entry and Invoice Processing

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Oracle and QuickBooks

• Experience with SAP

• Excellent attention to detail and organization skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to meet deadlines

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to continuously improve and learn new skills
