Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Design Engineer in the Dallas Fort-Worth area. This person will be responsible for creating technical designs, developing engineering and architectural drawings, acoustic modeling and more from customer specific requirements for audio-visual projects. They will be assisting the sales force with quotes and proposals, bill of materials and writing the scope of work for these projects. The Design Engineer will be providing on-going engineering support to the projects and field crews on projects.

Skills and Requirements

2+ years of experience designing and deploying audiovisual systems.

Experience with any of the AV products and systems (Crestron, Extron, QSC, Biamp, Polycom, etc.)

Understanding of basic IP Networking AVIXA CTS certification

Formal Education in Electronics or a related field

Experience with VTC equipment and solutions. null
