State of Montana Staffing Coordinator in Lewistown, Montana

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Healthcare Facilities Division / MMHNCC Staffing Coordinator:This position provides administrative support to the Director of Nursing and the nursing department. Some of the primary job duties are coordinating schedules for facility staff and contracted CNA's as well as orientating new staff, review and approve timecards for CNA's and ensure all CNA and MAII certifications are current. * * * *Why Join DPHHS * * Our mission at DPHHS is serving Montanans in their communities to improve health, safety, well-being, and empower independence. Physical and Environmental Demands: · Lift 20 pounds frequently/50 pounds occasionally · Carry 20 pounds occasionally · Push/pull up to 30 pounds · Reach forward and below frequently/above shoulders occasionally · Handle/grasp up to 90% of shift · Work in confined area with other employees and many interruptions · May be subject to verbal and/or physical abuse from residents · Maintains proper security of clients, facilities, and other staff. · Reports all hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisory staff/maintenance for repair or control measures. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Behaviors):Must have the ability to: work independently; determine the appropriate format for each project, develop new document formats, follow instructions pertaining to draft corrections and document details, compose correspondence, perform accurate and thorough work, prioritize workload and meet established deadlines; must be able to establish and maintain effective work relationships with staff, residents, and the public; deal effectively with administrative detail, and confidential information; and follow written and oral instructions.
