Covenant Health EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT TECHNICIAN II in Lewiston, Maine

The starting rate for this position is $22.00.

The rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale. At the time of an offer, the determination of your offer will reflect your skills and experience as it relates to the position.

Summary

The Emergency Department Technician II is an essential member of the Patient-Focused Care Team. Performs patient care and other related duties with supervision following established policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or obtained before completion of orientation.

  • High School Diploma/GED required. Two years associate degree preferred.

  • Medical Assistant certification from the American Assoc. of Medical Assistants, the National Center for Competency Testing, or the National Health Career Association, or EMT- Advanced/Paramedic License with the State of Maine required.

  • Basic Life Support certification is required at the time of hire.
