Lewiston, Idaho: This position focuses heavily on chemistry and various laboratory tests. The individual will oversee the life cycle and implementation of chemical feed equipment, including installation, maintenance, and repair. Responsibilities include taking samples, conducting laboratory tests, reporting results daily, and ensuring proper inventory levels. This role collaborates directly with the sales force to discover customer needs and maintain account relationships. Essentially, this position functions as a technical sales assistant. - Install new equipment according to specifications and safety guidelines - Inspect and maintain equipment regularly to identify and remedy potential issues - Conduct daily chemical analyses and report variables such as pH and conductivity - Repair equipment and its components as necessary - Monitor and adjust chemical levels and applications frequently - Document inspections, repairs, and replacements accurately - Provide regular reports on equipment status - Interact with customers to understand their needs and concerns - Communicate repair procedures and provide optimization recommendations to customers - Maintain high safety standards, including HAZMAT protocols - Train end-users on proper implementation and maintenance of equipment, documenting the training - Manage chemical and equipment inventory - Continue education on technology and industry standards, attending training sessions

Work Environment
Papermill, very industrial environment. Very hot. Will be on feet most of the day. Must be content with repetitive lab testing and routine shift work. Candidates will be 'on call' during weekends occasionally and must be in the area, available to work at any hour of the day if needed.
