JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our Award Winning team as a Hospitality Breakfast Attendant, where your early morning energy and passion for making guests smile will create the perfect start to their day!

 

 

  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as scheduled.
  • Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
  • Observe all house and safety rules, food handling procedures, and security procedures.
  • Assist with inventories as scheduled
  • Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Welcome, greet and interact with guests in the breakfast and lobby area. Responsible for the setup, service, maintenance, and breakdown of the breakfast bar line; prepare specified food items at the breakfast bar, replenishing food and assist in serving food from the breakfast bar line to the guests, courteously and efficiently in accordance with departmental quality standards and specifications.

 

 

  • Greet guests warmly as they arrive for breakfast.
  • Address guest inquiries and accommodate special dietary needs.
  • Set up the breakfast area with all necessary food, beverages, utensils, and condiments before service begins.
  • Ensure the presentation of food is appealing and replenished as needed.
  • Clean and break down the breakfast area after service, ensuring all items are stored properly.
  • Keep the breakfast area, including tables and counters, clean and tidy throughout service.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels of breakfast items and supplies.
  • Inform management when items need to be reordered.
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of breakfast supplies.
  • Ensure timely replenishment of food items.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk teams to meet guest needs and preferences.
  • Support colleagues in other areas of the hotel as needed.
  • Listen to guest feedback and relay any suggestions or complaints to management.
  • Participate in daily team meetings to discuss ways to enhance the breakfast service.
  • Stay updated on hotel policies, food safety regulatios, and hospitality trends.
  • Attend training sessions to improve service skills and product knowledge.
  • Foster a welcoming and enjoyable environment for guests.
  • Use positive interactions to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Ensure all breakfast offerings meet the hotel's quality standards.
  • Follow company policies and procedures consistently.
  • Handle any emergencies or unusual situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with management and other departments during crises.

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Understanding and anticipating guest needs and feel ngs.
  • Quickly identifying and resolving guest issues or concerns.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Contributing to a supportive and efficient work environment.
  • Handling multiple tasks efficiently without compromising service quality.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
  • Dependability in fulfilling job responsibilities.
  • Maintaining a cheerful and welcoming demeanor.
  • Ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
  • Food safety certification preferred, but no required. Food safety training and be provided
