Intel DevOps Engineer (Integration, Computer Vision) in Leixlip, Ireland

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer. The successful candidate will work within a global DevOps team develop a large-scale continuous integration and delivery system. Intel NPU enable demanding computer vision and edge AI workloads with efficiency. The NPU technology enables intelligent cameras, edge servers and AI appliances with deep neural network and computer vision based applications in areas such as Inference at the edge, visual retail, security and safety, and industrial automation. NPUs Software teams are responsible for delivering embedded Software and Firmware for these SoC developments. The team is involved in exciting and challenging projects from concept, through architecture into design, and finally debug and release of NPU IP into Intel software products. In this position you will develop and maintain Continuous Integration / Continuous Development system intended to integrate (Deep Learning / CNN based) computer vision algorithms to OpenVINO. You will also deploy various automated tools supporting software development process established in the team.

Qualifications

  • Python programming skills.

  • Advanced Linux User.

  • Experience with Docker, Registry, Ansible.

  • Proven experience of using Jenkins, deployment of Jenkins-based CI systems, Groovy scripts development.

  • High-level understanding of Software Configuration Management, Validation processes.

  • Good reading and writing English skills: intermediate level or higher.

Will be an additional advantage:

  • Good knowledge of Computer Science.

  • Experience with K8s or other container orchestration systems.

  • Background in Computer Vision, image and/or video processing.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
