DESCRIPTION OF WORK A County Social Services Aide 1 assists caseworkers with managing their caseload, assists with supervision of visitations, attends Children Advocacy Center (CAC) interviews, and assists caseworkers with documentation in case management system. A employee in this position also assists families with activities of daily living including but not limited to home maintenance and care, in-home parenting education, proper hygiene, nutrition, cooking /food shopping skills, and maintenance of the home.

This position may include transporting consumers to supervised visitation and necessary appointments and may provide child care when necessary; assist in completing applications/forms. An employee in this position is responsible for written report of each appointment with consumers, participates in meetings with other staff to develop treatment plans and set goals for consumers, attends court and testify, if needed, and performs clerical office duties as needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. May require work after hours. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Graduation from high school; or Any equivalent combination of training and experience. Other Requirements: You must meet the .
