Sunrun PV Site Modeler in Lehi, Utah

Overview

The Site Modeler role will support the Sales Organization. This entry-level position will include use of proprietary web-based software and aerial imagery to generate accurate 3D representations of homes and their surroundings. These models are used to generate custom solar photovoltaic system proposals and their associated expected system production.

Responsibilities

  • Follow design standards to ensure sold solar designs can be installed with high customer satisfaction

  • Use software to model site conditions including roof planes, estimate tree height, estimate roof pitch, place roof obstructions that affect a solar roof layout

  • Create and maintain account files in Salesforce

  • Resolve technology errors by following protocol and interacting with different departments of the company

  • Actively seek ways to improve the site modeling process through documentation and interaction with team members

  • Interacts with and supports remote sales organizations and is essential to helping sales representatives close deals, preventing customer cancellations and change orders.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 years experience

  • Must be available to work on Saturdays

  • Working knowledge of current computer technology

  • Ability to quickly become a proficient user of new software tools

  • A self-starter who can identify what needs to happen and execute with minimal supervision

  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized

  • Excellent listening skills and problem solving ability, able to quickly learn and use new skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, high growth, start-up company and able to meet challenging targets

  • A team player with the ability to self-manage and flexibility for various tasks

  • Working collaboratively with others to achieve monthly organizational goals

  • High level of confidence, desire to succeed, and assertiveness

  • Close attention to detail and technical focus to reduce/eliminate output error

  • Visual estimation and solving practical problems with limited or varying information

  • Residential solar or construction knowledge preferred

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

$17.58 to $23.45

Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.
