Reynard Solutions Slack Developer in Leesburg, Virginia

Roles and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Slack Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Slack integrations and bots. You will work closely with our development team to ensure seamless integration and enhance the productivity and collaboration of our employees.

As a Slack Developer, you should have a strong understanding of Slack's API and be familiar with the development and customization of Slack apps. You should also have experience in developing custom Slack integrations, creating bots, and integrating external services with Slack.

This position is Hybrid - part time at: Washington DC 20420

Responsibilities
  • Assisting the development team in creating software code, scripts, and forms that are efficient, reusable, and reliable.
  • Developing Slack Bots and implement automation solutions to optimize workflow.
  • Developing and deploying cloud-based applications and APIs.
  • Reading, updating, and maintaining existing codebases written by others.
  • Working collaboratively with other software engineers to fit solutions into larger ecosystem.
  • Assisting in the management of security-related aspects of the infrastructure, software deployment, and connectivity.
  • Assisting the team with DevSecOps, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.

``` - At least 1-2 years of experience in developing for Slack. - Experience in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Understanding of DevSecOps principles and technologies. - Familiarity with Slack Bots, including planning, development, testing, and deployment. - Previous experience with automation of processes and tasks. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills

Preferred but not mandatory:

  • Experience with specific cloud platforms, such as AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, or Azure Functions.
  • Knowledge in using containers and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, CircleCI.
