Responsibilities

• Machine Maintenance: Conducting regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on injection molding machines to ensure they operate efficiently and reliably.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues that may arise with injection molding machines or associated equipment.

• Preventive Maintenance: Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery.

• Calibration: Ensuring that machines are calibrated correctly to maintain product quality and adherence to specifications.

• Repair Work: Performing repairs and replacements of components such as molds, heaters, sensors, and hydraulic cylinders.

• Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for themselves and others.

• Documentation: Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.

• Training and Support: Providing training and technical support to operators and other personnel to ensure proper operation and maintenance practices.

• Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in machine operation and maintenance practices.

• Emergency Response: Being prepared to respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or failures to minimize production downtime.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 12 hours at one time

• working weekends
