WHAT YOU'LL DO

Provides support to Regional Facility Service Managers (RFSMs) during the planning and execution of facility capital projects and equipment replacements for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and Maple Street Biscuit Company.Assists Facility Services Team by coordinating and completing the tasks associated with remodels and projects, regional preventive maintenance program, and quarterly reviews. Provides direct support to store management for all locations concerning warranties and maintenance issues relating to building, site, and equipment and crisis/natural disaster situations.

Create purchase orders and follow up status of procurement of goods and services. Communicates schedule to store leadership, vendors, national project managers and project managers. Supports store operations for all units by initiating and coordinating the resolution of site, building, and equipment warranty, maintenance, and crisis issues. Research facts and analyzes information to determine urgency of situation and appropriate course of action. Contacts general contractor/ service agents, or sources independent agencies to coordinate service and/or equipment, building or site repair. Follows up to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner. Assists the Facility Services Project Manager with projects by inviting and processing vendor/contractor bids, ordering equipment, scheduling delivery and services, and ensuring materials and services requested are rendered in a timely manner. Develops necessary reports to reflect status of regional information. Audits vendor invoices to control store costs and to ensure compliance with contractual terms. Supports projects related to equipment and process rollouts. Drives scheduling and execution of less complex facilities projects. Assists with vendor onboarding and training on billing processes. Reviews and recommends or denies payment for purchases and/or services for the stores while determining warranty or non-warranty issues. Liaise with Accounts Payables and Fixed Assets to ensure creditors are paid. Conducts various projects as assigned. Research and compiles facility services-related information and reports information as requested by other departments (i.e., Risk Management, Finance, Operations, Quality Assurance, Accounting, etc.).

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Experience and Education • High school diploma and 1-3 years office experience. Certifications Knowledge and Skills • Organizational and prioritizing skills. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Multi-task oriented. • Strong analytical and decision making skills. • Basic computer skills. • Basic knowledge of maintenance equipment and materials. • Basic knowledge of construction terminology, materials, blueprints, and technique
