Responsibilities

Dartmouth Health / Cheshire Medical Centeris seeking anexperiencedandhighly motivated Physician Assistant (PA)to join their Orthopaedics Department in Keene, NH. The ideal candidate will have experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care, Anesthesia, and/or Orthopaedics. The PA will work in a multi-disciplinary, preoperative team. Most of the time will be spent in the outpatient clinic, with additional responsibilities including assisting in the OR during surgeries, performing same-day and ED consults and procedures, inpatient rounding, and conducting surgical history and physicals.

This position is ideal for a PA looking for a fast-paced, collegial environment with diverse responsibilities. The PA will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide team-based, high-value quality care to patients of all ages.

The position is Monday through Friday, with hours approximately from 7:30 am to 5 pm. There is also a call component, with weekday and weekend calls at a 1:7 ratio when fully staffed, which is compensated.

Qualifications

Required Licensure/Certifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience required. Current (or eligible) certification to practice as a Physician's Assistant in the state of New Hampshire. Academic preparation at the Master's level required.

  • CPR Certified.

  • ACLS Certified (Can obtain within the first year of employment

  • Area of Interest:Associate Provider;

  • FTE/Hours per pay period:1.00 - 1.00 - 40 hrs/week;
