Copeland Scheduler in Lebanon, Missouri

The Scheduler position plans and generates the Assembly production schedules to ensure customer orders are filled on-time and to provide the best sequencing for the most effective use of the production lines. This position requires the use of critical thinking skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a sometimes-stressful environment and is key to driving our Materials Requirement Planning systems. Additionally, Master Scheduling duties will be a part of this position. The Scheduler, also, is responsible for driving improvements in the material processes and will work as a part of the team to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery. This position requires significant interface with Customer Service, Analyst, Warehouse Team, Production, Quality, and Engineering

As a Scheduler, You Will:

Plans assembly schedules in the most efficient sequence to ensure customer orders are filled on-time.

Generates and maintains the daily Liveload schedules for the assigned assembly lines.

Coordinates with the Material Analysts when parts shortages occur to minimize impact to our customers and to the production lines.

Communicates with Customer Service on drop-in orders or on potential late customer orders and parts issues.

Works with Warehouse Team on Renames/Single packs.

Master Schedules new customer orders for the assigned production lines

Releases work orders to production lines and clears Live loads and/or Rebuilds

Participates in cost reduction and continuous improvement activities.

Manages MRP/Oracle/Demantra systems to forecast to Monthly Demand Plan and weekly forecasting for each production line and maintain LiveMRP Calendar

Run a Kanban Model Report daily and adjust.

Manages inventory levels of Slow Moving/Top 20 Unusable Inventory to meet inventory goals.

Coordinates with Pilot Spec-Prod Engineering and Sample Coordinator

Manages new models introductions.

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

Bachelors in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong computer skills (Excel)

Legal work authorization in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:

Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations preferred

ASCM or other relevant Professional Certification

Experience with MRP/ERP systems

Oracle experience

Experience with Demantra

Schedule

The general working hours for this role are 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
