Lilly is currently constructing an advanced manufacturing facility for production of API molecules located in Lebanon, IN. This facility is Lilly’s largest investment in manufacturing capacity and is intended to provide APIs for current and future products. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the startup of a greenfield manufacturing site.

Position Brand Description:

The Administrative Assistant – Lebanon API is responsible for providing administrative support for the Lebanon API Operation.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

  • Facilitate communications within and outside the department(s), including the preparation of presentations and meeting minutes.

  • Handle customer inquiries and requests.

  • Maintain daily calendars of leaders including schedule ad hoc and /or recurring meetings which may include interacting with individuals from other organizations.

  • Update and maintain the area’s shared information including publishing of monthly metrics and reports.

  • Process accounts payable invoices.

  • Sort and distribute mail within the area.

  • Coordinate office moves for employees.

  • Operate and maintain a variety of office equipment.

  • Perform general administrative tasks, such as faxing documents and photocopying.

  • Order and maintain an inventory of office supplies.

  • Support travel arrangements.

  • Act as a liaison for computer and software requests and issues.

  • Serve as backup for other administrative personnel.

  • Participate in administrative projects specific to the areas of support

Basic Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, across all levels and functions.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and requests.

  • Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot issues.

  • Strong attention to detail.

Additional Preferences:

  • Previous administrative assistant experience.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma.

Other Information:

  • Tasks may require entering manufacturing and laboratory areas which require wearing appropriate PPE.
