Hours: Monday-Friday (hybrid)

Job Description

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Specialist is responsible for executing and evaluating all program management functions for the Center for Diversity and Health Equity (CDHE). This position also supports the Commission for Diversity, Equity and Inclusiveness and related governance events (e.g., reference committee service at NCCL, National Conference). The Specialist will partner with the CDHE Manager to explore, implement, and evaluate established and new initiatives and projects.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or knowledge acquired through equivalent work experience, plus a minimum of two years related experience. Demonstrated ability to successfully operationalize projects/programs with minimum oversight, work independently, effectively organize work, work with frequent interruptions, and adjust quickly to changing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary; a professional customer service attitude is essential. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functional groups in a matrixed environment. Team player who can work well with internal teams.

Preferred experience: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion experience. Program management & evaluation. Familiarity with educational programming for events and working with presenters/faculty.
