Manages the Valve Pin Department and the Polishing Department at Manner USA Inc. Has total control of the day-to-day operations of both departments. Assigns work to the employees in each department and is responsible for finishing all work orders in time and for the final quality of the manufactured components. Manages seven employees and schedules the workload for direct reports. Responsible for the manufacturing equipment used to produce all valve pins, capacity planning, and keeping lead times. Responsible for ensuring that components manufactured in both departments fulfill quality requirements. Makes decisions on all personnel and equipment, making sure scheduled workloads are finished in time and passing all quality requirements. Makes decisions to source work to outside contractors to accommodate timelines. Works directly with corporate HR and local management on topics like personnel, equipment, and quality and cost control.*Special Skills Required: Bilingual in English and German; hot runner technologies; blueprint reading; CNC equipment; ERP systems; working with the metric system; performing a leadership role in a manufacturing environment; strong organizational and time management abilities; and strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
