HORTICULTURE LABORER - DISTRICT 1

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license.May perform a wide variety oftasks in the provision of turf maintenance, landscape services, irrigation systems, and horticulture tasks for the Cityparks, and other public landscape areas. May include operating power mowers and other landscapeequipment. May include general labor such as trash pickup; weeding; flower, shrub, and tree care; and mulchinglandscaped areas. May also include watering plants, lifting hoses, and standing for long periods. Knowledge of plantmaterials is desired. The approximate starting date is mid-March with some positions running through November.General work hours are 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Monday-Friday

Successful candidates must pass a background check.
