Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Scientist I to join our team in the Laurel, MD area. The position is part of a team that provides systems engineering, software development, configuration management and application testing support for a Weapons and Space software development effort.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Performs advanced data analysis and modeling on complex datasets to drive data-driven decision making within the organization* Evaluate, optimize, and/or develop models that are tailored to the mission set of the customer* Works closely with cross-functional teams that include business owners, Data Engineers, and other IT stakeholders* Implement statistical models and provide actionable insights to optimize business processes* Collaborate with other Data Scientist IIs and take direction from more senior personnelMinimum Qualifications:* Bachelors degree in a STEM field and 2 years of experience, or four (4) additional years of experience are required in lieu of degree.* Associates degree and two (2) additional years of experience are required.* Ability to obtain one of the following certifications within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order: Security CE, CySA, GICSP, Security CE, CND, or SSCPPreferred Qualifications:* Vendor tool certifications appropriate to TDL requirements; e.g., Oracle and MongoSecurity Clearance Requirements:* Must have a current and active TS/SCI with polygraph.
