Human Resources Representative Aquarius (Laughlin, NV)

Description:

Summary:

Performs clerical and administrative support for the Human Resources Department. Provides support for all aspects of Human Resources including, but not limited to, employment and recruitment, benefits, events, LOA, data entry, general correspondence, filing, record-keeping and guest service inquiries (via e-mail, telephonically or in person).

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Services employees at the front counter, as well as applicants applying for jobs.

  • Handles incoming calls on multi-phone line.

  • Completes processing and onboarding for new hire employees using HireXpress, LabCorp and HRLogix.

  • Checks the Human Resources drop box.

  • Maintains all employee files.

  • Assists with data entry.

  • Assists employees with benefit questions.

  • Prints current and new employee ID badges

  • Maintains the termination log and termination checks.

  • Updates name and address changes for terminated employees.

  • Assists with employee events and recognition programs.

  • Provides administrative support to all areas of Human Resources

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position

  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

  • At least 21 years of age and able to provide all documents required for work in the United States.

  • Bilingual preferred.

  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service

  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company

  • Verify right to work in the United States
