Extricom Extrusion GmbH is part of the CPM Process Solutions Group with locations in Europe, the USA and China. We develop and manufacture RingExtruders, twin screw extruders, compounding systems and produce spare parts for extruders.

As part of the global sales support team, the Proposal Engineer will work and coordinate within a team selling model, with support from Sales Managers and Technical Sales Managers, to prepare customer proposals focusing on technical process solutions along with maintaining cost base information.

Proposal Engineer (M/F/D)

Your function:

As our Proposal Engineer you provide internal sales support by:

• Working with the sales team on proposal scope of supply

• Assisting with and/or preparing written proposals and calculation sheets

• Create process flow diagrams, equipment general layout drawings, in AutoCAD mechanical and Microsoft Visio

• Managing priorities together with the commercial team and the operational team

• Gathering costs for projects; work with supply chain & procurement area for cost analysis

• Preparing risk assessments, both financial and hazard analysis

• Gathering detailed equipment reference drawings, ROI calculation sheets for proposals

• Perform various engineering calculations and analyses related to process design and equipment sizing and selection

• Create SAP quotations, and purchase requisitions according to the procedures as assigned

  Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Process or Mechanical Engineering recommended.

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendors.

• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

• Customer-centric mindset and relations skills.

• Respond to requests and inquiries from internal and external customers.

• Understand and carry out technical instructions.

• Ability to plan, produce and deliver compliant proposals within timescale.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Aptitude with computers and applications, such as AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Inventor, Microsoft Visio, Share Point and Microsoft Office

• SAP and CRM (Salesforce) experience a plus

• Experience with Python or SQL a plus
