Robert Half Tier 3 Helpdesk in Las Vegas, Nevada

Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Tier 3 Helpdesk Technician to join their IT support team. This role is pivotal in providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring seamless IT operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ConnectWise and either a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or at least five years of professional experience in IT support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 3 level support for escalated technical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

  • Utilize ConnectWise to manage, track, and resolve service tickets.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced hardware and software issues across various platforms and devices.

  • Act as an escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians, offering guidance and support as needed.

  • Maintain and update technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to implement and support new technologies and system upgrades.

  • Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of issues.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).

  • Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.

    Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of relevant experience is required.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.

  • Extensive experience with ConnectWise is required.

  • Strong understanding of networking, server administration, and desktop support.
