Senior Analyst- FP&A Golden Entertainment Corporate (Las Vegas, NV)
Description:
Summary:Responsible for supporting the day to day operations by providing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting as primary responsibilities. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The Senior Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”) will lead property level FP&A responsibilities for one of our casinos, in addition to supporting the Corporate FP&A organization as follows:
Support management by analyzing financial results and preparing monthly forecasts
Provide financial strategic financial analysis for reporting and business decision making objectives
Assist in the annual budget and forecasting process and provide recommendations on how to improve forecast assumptions and baselines
Provide appropriate data and analysis on new deal transactions while monitoring performance on existing covenants
Provide support for ad hoc analysis and projects as needed
Support in identifying positive financial outcomes to increase profitability
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
Assist in training and supervising analysts on team.
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications
2 + years prior experience working in same or similar role preferred
Prior experience working in gaming industry preferred
An accounting knowledge foundation and application
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess the impact of operations on financial results
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong cognitive, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and cross functionally at all levels
Exceptional written as well as verbal communication skills
Strong analytical background
Strong Excel skills and prior experience with SQL is required
At least 21 years of age
Bachelor’s degree required; emphasis in Finance, Accounting, or other related area preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
Verify right to work in the United States

Prolonged periods of sitting/working at a desk
Occasionally push and/or pull up to 20 lbs.
